On January 1, Deputy Minister of Education and Science G.Ganbayar and Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Dmitry Glushko signed a Memorandum on cooperation in secondary education between the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia and the Ministry of Enlightenment of Russia during a virtual meeting.
Under the cooperation document, the countries will jointly improve quality of studies and the professional development of secondary school teachers, implement student and teacher exchange programs, and share experiences to introduce advanced technologies in secondary education delivery.
Moreover, during the meeting, the parties agreed to embark on a joint secondary school project and put emphasis on the professional development and upskilling of Russian language teachers. According to previous agreement with the Ministry of Enlightenment, Russian language teachers are working virtually in six rural schools of Mongolia.
