Students who achieved outstanding results at international academic Olympiads, along with the organizing committees that prepared them, have received the President’s Awards.
In 2026, Mongolian students representing their country at 11 international Olympiads in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, informatics, artificial intelligence, engineering, and technology won a total of 36 medals and special awards.
President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh presented awards and extended his congratulations to the students who demonstrated their talent, knowledge, and skills at international Olympiads and proudly represented Mongolia on the global stage, as well as to the Olympiad organizing committees that supported their preparation.
In 2021, President Khurelsukh issued a decree directing the Government to enhance the recognition of Mongolian intellectual achievement, strengthen students’ competitiveness in scientific knowledge at the international level, and create opportunities and incentives for students to participate in international Olympiads.
Students who win medals at international Olympiads and gain admission to leading universities worldwide will have the opportunity to study under the “President’s Scholarship – 2100” programme.
