On September 10, 2026, Mongolian Minister of Education L. Enkh-Amgalan met with Jean-Sébastien Conty, Deputy Director of the Directorate-General for Global Affairs at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on improving the quality and accessibility of school meal production and services in general education schools.
Within the framework of the goal to create “Healthy, Green, Inclusive, Safe and Smart Schools,” France’s good practices could be introduced to improve the nutritional value of school lunches, develop healthy menus, and incorporate healthy eating education into school curricula.
The French side expressed its readiness to support Mongolia in improving the accessibility and quality of its school lunch programme.
