Teachers participating in a training program say an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant is helping reduce their workload by an estimated four to five hours, while supporting the learning process.
The “Gemini Academy” program, which aims to leverage AI to reduce teachers’ workload and support learning, has been held for the second consecutive year.
As part of the program, which seeks to equip education professionals with AI skills, ease teachers’ workloads and enhance the learning process, participants took part in four station-based workshops.
During the workshops, teachers gained practical skills in using AI-powered tools to save time and improve productivity in their daily work, including lesson planning and the development of teaching and learning materials.
Meanwhile, teacher leaders from Google Educator Groups (GEG) who participated in a teacher exchange program initiated by Google shared their experiences and best practices with fellow educators.
As part of efforts to further advance the digital transformation of the education sector and expand opportunities for teachers’ continuous professional development, Google for Education Mongolia plans to continue delivering online training through the Google Classroom platform starting in September.
