MEETINGS BETWEEN MINISTERS AND PARENTS AND GUARDIANS TO BE RESUMED TO ADDRESS SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION

The Ministry held a meeting with representatives from educational institutions and support organizations that specialize in general academics and occupational therapy tailored to children with special needs.

The discussions emphasized the necessity of continuously listening to and engaging with teachers, parents, and guardians to ensure that physical, sensory, emotional, behavioral, and learning activities are high-quality and accessible.

During the meeting, officials addressed issues regarding bureaucratic red tape and budget constraints. The Ministry emphasized the need to eliminate the shifting of responsibilities within the middle levels of government that causes delays and inconveniences. A directive was issued to ensure clear, responsible, and human-centric operations.

Furthermore, the consultative meetings between the Ministers of Health, Family, Labor and Social Protection, and Education and parents/guardians, which had been paused, will be resumed next week. This approach will allow for systematic planning and immediate resolution of pressing issues.

General Education School No. 55 in the capital has established trilateral agreements with parents and guardians to organize positive child-rearing methods and preventative risk training.

The school director proposed several initiatives, including the construction of dedicated sports and arts facilities, focusing on teacher development and methodology, addressing the needs of children who require home-based care, reducing class sizes, and establishing an inclusive enrollment department.
