President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh initiated the construction of the Law School building in 2022 during a meeting with relevant ministries, the city administration, and school representatives.
The building is planned to house the Institute of Constitutional Law of NUM, which was established by a presidential decree.
Construction began in 2024. The first phase of construction, Block B, is being funded by NUM, while Block A is being funded through state budget investments.
President U.Khurelsukh has urged the leadership of relevant ministries, the university, and construction enterprises to ensure that this project - the largest intellectual investment in NUM's history over the past 60 years - is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
The 6-story building will be able to accommodate approximately 2,000 people simultaneously for training and research activities.
Key facility specifications include:
- Lecture Halls: One hall with a capacity of approximately 150 seats, two halls with a capacity of approximately 120 seats each, and three lecture halls with a capacity of approximately 70 seats each.
- Classrooms: 38 seminar rooms.
- Additional Amenities: Research rooms for professors, a library, and dedicated parking facilities.
