NEW LAW SCHOOL BUILDING OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MONGOLIA TO BE FULLY OPERATIONAL BY EARLY NEXT YEAR

President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh initiated the construction of the Law School building in 2022 during a meeting with relevant ministries, the city administration, and school representatives.

The building is planned to house the Institute of Constitutional Law of NUM, which was established by a presidential decree.

Construction began in 2024. The first phase of construction, Block B, is being funded by NUM, while Block A is being funded through state budget investments.

President U.Khurelsukh has urged the leadership of relevant ministries, the university, and construction enterprises to ensure that this project - the largest intellectual investment in NUM's history over the past 60 years - is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

The 6-story building will be able to accommodate approximately 2,000 people simultaneously for training and research activities.

Key facility specifications include:

  • Lecture Halls: One hall with a capacity of approximately 150 seats, two halls with a capacity of approximately 120 seats each, and three lecture halls with a capacity of approximately 70 seats each.
  • Classrooms: 38 seminar rooms.
  • Additional Amenities: Research rooms for professors, a library, and dedicated parking facilities.
