
A meeting was held with members of the Google for Education project team. The Google for Education project team first began working with the Education Information Technology Center on online and classroom teacher training.
To date, the Gemini Academy program for empowering teachers and students and the Medle content library have been added as an Add-on to Google Classroom. By 2025, 2491 teachers have participated in Gemini Academy training, and 104 teachers have successfully graduated.
The program provides students with the ability to learn at least 10 applications and tools of Gemini and NotebookLM artificial intelligence, master the right instructional methodology, and use artificial intelligence appropriately.
The main content is to create lesson plans, tests, and assessment rubrics that facilitate the work of teachers using artificial intelligence. The results of the program showed that teachers' digital skills improved, workload decreased, and students' interest in using Google tools increased.
Teachers and students responded that they would recommend Chromebooks and Google tools to others, and teachers believed that Google tools helped improve students' STEAM and social-emotional skills.
In the future, the Gemini Academy program will be expanded with the Google for Education project team to have a computer for every child. Today, according to the survey, 1 in 20 children has a computer.
AI Reading and teaching in Mongolian is very important. Another opportunity for children to acquire the skills of speaking and writing correctly in their native Mongolian is seen as artificial intelligence.
Tablets are used in education, but they do not fully meet the needs and desires of children, as proven by the example of developed countries. In addition to devices, it is necessary to improve their digital infrastructure, and thirdly, excellent content at all levels of education.
