Minister of Education P. Naranbayar met with Rector of Buryat State University of the Russian Federation A.V. Damdinov.
A conference of rectors aimed at stimulating cooperation between Mongolian and Russian universities in the field of higher education was successfully held in Buryatia, Russia, last July. It was a significant event that resulted in the signing of a total of 26 cooperation documents between the universities.
Next year, the Mongolian University of Science and Technology will be responsible for organizing the conference, and parties exchanged views on the agendas and importance to be discussed in this context.
The Ministry of Education expressed its willingness to cooperate with the newly opened Mongolian Language and Culture Center at Buryat State University to further intensify its activities and disseminate Mongolian language, culture, customs, and traditions to Russian citizens.
