The General law bill on education was approved at the spring session of the State Great Khural on July 7, 2023 since it was first presented to the Parliament speaker Mr G.Zandanshatar on June 24, 2021.
Through the law, the following reforms will be made in the education sector:
-Educational goals and objectives are in line with development needs
-Every Mongolian has an equal opportunity to learn and develop
-Citizens are guaranteed the right to lifelong learning
-The opportunity for continuous development of teachers will be opened
-Capacity-based management and governance system will be strengthened
-Introduce quality, results and performance based funding
-Digital education system will be developed
