MINISTER OF EDUCATION EXCHANGES VIEWS WITH UNICEF REPRESENTATIVE BEATE DASTEL ON JOINT PROGRAMS

Minister of Education L.Enkh-Amgalan held a consultative meeting with Ms. Beate Dastel, the newly appointed Representative of UNICEF, to discuss ongoing and future programs. During the meeting, the Minister congratulated the Representative on her appointment and provided a brief overview of the six key educational reforms currently being implemented.

The Minister highlighted the successful outcomes of projects implemented in partnership with UNICEF in recent years, including the "Support for English Language Skills for Teachers and Students in Remote Areas," "Teacher with Tablet," and "One Team – One School" initiatives.

These programs have contributed significantly to improving the learning environment and enhancing the skills of teachers and learners in rural areas. The Minister expressed his commitment to continuing this cooperation to ensure equitable education for every child.

During the meeting, Representative Beate Dastel noted that school bullying has become a pressing issue not only in Mongolia but globally, and she expressed UNICEF's readiness to collaborate closely in addressing this challenge.
