His Excellency Tsend Munkh-Orgil, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the French Republic:
Ensuring adequate hydration is vital for children's health. Currently, many children suffer from dehydration due to excessive consumption of sugary beverages. Dehydration leads to adverse effects such as fatigue, headaches, and a lack of concentration. Therefore, it is essential to install drinking water stations and filtration systems in kindergartens and general education schools.
Statistics from food production in the education sector:
- The number of dietitians in general education schools has risen from 9 in the 2020-2021 academic year to 319 in 2025-2026.
- Kindergartens had 2 dietitians in the 2020-2021 academic year, and rose to 158 in 2025-2026.
- The number of schools outsourcing or leasing their kitchen facilities has dropped from 158 to 42.
- Studies have shown that 1 in every 10 children has a Vitamin D deficiency.
